Iain Summerlin BSc, MSc(Aud), MAudA(CCP)
Audiologist

Iain completed his Masters of Audiology at the Institute of Sound and Vibration Research of the University of Southampton in 1977. Following 3 years of further research at the Institute, Iain gained extensive experience in clinical investigation of hearing and balance disorders while working as a clinical Audiologist in hospitals in New Zealand and Melbourne, and then as Director of Audiology at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Perth. As Director, he set up Medical Audiology Services in West Perth to offer hearing and balance investigation and aural rehabilitation services in a private setting in 1988, and later established his own practice as Iain Summerlin Audiologist (now Summerlin Audiology) in 1992. Iain has the benefit of a background in diagnostics coupled with a desire to keep up to date with the current developments in hearing aid technology, so that he can offer the best counsel to patients needing answers to their hearing problems.


Nicole Cordery BSc, MClinAud, MAudA(CCP)
Audiologist

Nicole joined Summerlin Audiology in January 2014, after graduating from the University of Western Australia with her Masters of Clinical Audiology with Distinction. After 2 years of post-graduate study and now working closely with Iain, she has gained a wealth of experience and competence in the areas of adult and paediatric hearing assessment and adult hearing rehabilitation. During her time working as a Clinical Audiologist, she has developed a keen interest in tinnitus management and counselling, and new hearing technology including hearing aids and assistive listening devices. Nicole works part-time (Tuesday & Wednesday) in West Perth.

Ceri joined Summerlin Audiology in July 2018. She completed her Masters of Clinical Audiology in 2009 and has since worked in both Government and private practice. She has been very fortunate to work alongside some of Perth’s most experienced Audiologists. Early on in her career she worked extensively in complex adult cases, paediatric rehabilitation and Aboriginal hearing rehabilitation services around the state. Ceri has a keen interest in working with our older clients and in particular those with dementia. Ceri grew up on a farm and as a result enjoys the rehabilitation challenges that farming clients present with. Ceri works part time (Wednesday to Friday) in West Perth.


Lisa Rowe
Receptionist

Lisa has been our receptionist since 2001. She is your first point of contact for all sites to make appointments, discuss the tests available and arrange follow up consultations. She is well tuned in to likely problems with hearing aids and can assist you to troubleshoot dead or faulty devices.
